What's in your glass?
Do you see the glass as ½ full or ½ empty?
My brain always wants to tell me the glass is half empty because it started full, right? But then my husband will tell me I’m being a pessimist. I’ve always been the type of person to prepare myself for the worst by expecting the bad and then if something good happens, it’s good, but if something bad happens it’s ok too because I am prepared. But I am here to tell you today that that is no way to live – always feeling like the worst could be coming for you.
So I have started to change the way I view things - looking for the positive or the good before the bad. If you see the glass as ½ empty I challenge you to change too!
I want to make sure to smile more and frown less, always try to laugh every day, and take the time to live in every moment. There will always be problems we face but try to face them head on and with a smile, because after all life is what you make it! And I choose to make my life FULL!
When life throws you lemons, fill up that ½ full glass to make it full of lemonade!
